About Us

Meet Gaurav and Vinay, two brothers with an insatiable craving for real, homemade Indian sweets & snacks. As we went off to college, we couldn't help but miss the amazing flavors of our mom's cooking, especially her mouthwatering mithai.

The occasional care package filled with our mom’s mithai became something we looked forward to every holiday season. But we also realized that finding authentic mithai was a rare sight. Local mithai shops? None nearby. Online options? A few, but hit-or-miss.

Fuelled by our love for home-made sweets, we decided to create our own online mithai haven - Mad Over Meetha!

Our mission is simple: deliver top-quality mithai that tastes just like home. We craft small batches in our New York based kitchen to ensure freshness & flavor! We just want to share the same feelings of nostalgia we experience every time we take a bite of our mom’s mithai :)
